Full Stack Mobile Developer
KOSHI is a React Native mobile app that helps users find their ideal vehicle through browsing, filtering by specs and budget, and side-by-side car comparisons. Built with Expo and Firebase, it was submitted as a finals project in a university competition and earned 2nd place.
Built as a school finals project where the top 5 highest-remarked submissions received the best grades — making it a real competition with academic stakes. The project needed to be polished and feature-complete enough to stand out in front of professors and judges evaluating multiple teams.
I carried the bulk of the development workload — handling the full mobile stack while coordinating with teammates who covered documentation and presentation. The core technical challenge was delivering a clean, functional car browsing and comparison experience in React Native within the project deadline, largely on my own from a development standpoint.
To ship a well-built, competitive mobile app that demonstrated full-stack mobile development capability under pressure. KOSHI landed 2nd place in the competition, earning high remarks from the judges and securing top marks for the team.
